Photos and typing

Talk, show, or type. It all lands in one entry.

Some thoughts come with a picture: the receipt, the whiteboard, the view. Some moments are too quiet to talk. Nuro 3.0.9 handles both without starting over.

Short answerWhile recording, tap the camera to take or pick up to five photos; they attach to the entry when you stop, and Nuro’s Take can see them. To type instead, hold the record button, or tap Type instead while recording and the words so far carry over to the typing screen.

Photos

Show it while you say it.

Tap the camera while you are recording to take a photo or choose one from your library, up to five per recording. You can also add photos to an entry later from the entry screen.

Photos never hold up the recording. If you are offline or the upload is slow, the entry saves as normal and the photos follow when they can.

Typing

Switch to typing without losing what you said.

Hold the record button to open the typing screen directly. Already talking? Tap Type instead: the words Nuro heard so far move into the text box so you can keep going.

The audio itself is not kept when you switch. If you have been talking for more than 15 seconds, Nuro asks first and tells you how much audio will go.

Questions and answers

What people ask about photos and typing.

Can I add a photo to a voice note on iPhone?

Apple’s Voice Memos does not attach photos. In Nuro, tap the camera while recording, or add photos to the entry afterwards.

How many photos can a Nuro entry have?

Up to five.

Can I type in Nuro instead of talking?

Yes. Hold the record button to type, or switch mid-recording with Type instead. Typed entries are searched and analysed like spoken ones.
